Rapp Girls Basketball 2020-21 Schedule Release - RC Sports Network

WASHINGTON, Va. - RCHS Athletics released the condensed plan for its Girls Basketball program on November 12. The schedule follows the condensed order set by the VHSL.

Some schools and high school athletic organizations have already begun playing varsity sports, despite the pandemic. The VHSL decided to go another, rather controversial to some, but safer route. The VHSL Executive Committee voted in July to delay all sports until mid to late December.

The VHSL asked that all schools were to compete inside their own districts, and the Bull Run District aligned perfectly, meeting the 14 game requirement with 2 games per opponent. Following the news, it was still uncertain how long the season would last, or in better terms, how much shorter the season would feel.

Rapp Girls Basketball will only host and travel to Bull Run District foes, and no one else, with the exception of the playoffs. However, the current bracketing strategy for playoffs is currently undecided.
